About Chela

Chela is a point-of-sale and payment verification platform built for Ethiopian businesses. We started with a simple frustration: accepting a mobile payment shouldn't require cross-checking messages and screenshots to know whether money actually arrived.

Today Chela combines a modern web POS, server-side payment verification for supported providers, multi-branch and team management with real role-based permissions, and analytics — in one platform designed mobile-first.

We're a small team building carefully: features ship when they're dependable, claims stay factual, and business records stay intact. That's why verification runs on our backend, why roles are enforced on every request, and why every transaction keeps its history.
